NOTICE OF KEY DECISION

Notice is hereby given that the Executive Director: Delivery is to be asked to make a key decision on 8 November 2021 in respect of the following:

TITLE: Assignment of Intellectual Property Rights Relating to Smart Connect Software

SERVICE AREA: Delivery

PURPOSE OF DECISION:

Entering into a contract with Smart Citizen, the developers of the Smart Connect software, to transfer ownership of the intellectual property rights. The rights currently belonging to BFC, which represent a small component of the software, will be transferred to Smart Citizen in exchange for an ongoing share of their profits.

ISSUE REFERENCE: I102928

The Executive Director: Delivery will be considering a report prepared by or on behalf of the Executive Director: Delivery.  A copy of the report and any other documents will be available for inspection on the Council’s web site or at Time Square, Market Street, Bracknell, RG12 1JD (when the offices are open).
